The book reviews kept popping up on my facebook feed, all the reviews were raving so felt i needed to at least have a read.
WELL, i cannot put the books down, they are so enjoyable, im racing through the books, my worry now is what am i going to do once ive finished reading all 9 books of the gryphon chronicles.

I love these books!

I was addicted to Jake and his friends from book 1, the plot, the incredible characters and how well rounded they are ,and the whole story really sucks you in and keeps you in the world Eric and Gael have created, and I'm stoked there`s another series coming!

As a professional audiobook narrator, I am very picky about what I read for pleasure and I absolutely recommend these books, all 13 years of Eric and Gael`s time writing this story was was totally worth it, they have brought absolute joy to me and kids of all ages even when you're a kid of 53 will love these books x

This book series is detailed and keeps you engaged! You play a movie in your head, and it flows together seamlessly! When I picked up the first book and read it, it caught my attention. The book series is pretty much flawless.

I have been a fan since the first sentence of the first book. Each book can be read stand alone or in the series, I prefer the series as the story line carries through and you get to "see" the characters mature, make tough decisions along the way. The series has never disappointed in richness and depth, you really feel like you are right there seeing and experiencing everything first hand. I just couldn't read the books fast enough, they were so addictive. Definitely making my list of must reads, right up there with the Harry Potter and Chronicles of Narnia for the young adult or those of us who choose to never grow up and remain young at heart and in love with a great story. While I purchased the books individually while they were being released, I would encourage you to acquire the the whole collection, they are just that good and you can't wait to read the next book in the series. Great as a gift for that someone special or just treat yourself, you definitely will not be disappointed.

I grew up with Harry Potter, the first book came out when I was just barely 14 and I devoured every single chapter. Probably gave myself bad eyesight reading under the covers by flashlight long after my parents would have rather believed I was sleeping! I have long wished to be able to experience that wonder for the first time, again. This series has brought back that magic for me! The characters are believable and real in their flaws and their successes, the plot is twisty and turny enough to keep you guessing but not so out there that you can't put the book down for that - eww, ick - real world stuff that we adults have to do, and then pick up right where you left off! I laughed out loud, I cried ugly tears, I gasped and nearly threw my book (but didn't!) when the bad guys scored one on the heroes. This series has it all and I can't WAIT to see what the Foley's have in store for us next!

I love fantasy ! Middle grade, YA and the like . The Gryphon Chronicles was an awesome ride from start to finish. I started reading The Lost Heir” out of the blue one day because I was looking for a new series to start and this series popped up under things similar to HP , LOTR …. Anyhow, I gave it a go and I’m telling you I was hooked after a couple chapters . I’ve read the entire series several times !! It’s full of magic , villains and adventure . I love the different fantasy characters in the books and the mythology and backgrounds !! Just a very exciting series with an awesome cast a characters ! Definitely worth read !! Can’t wait for the next one !

I love this series. It's great for all ages. I love that it is entertaining for everyone. Clean family fun. My sister told me about these books and I am so glad she did. Once you start reading them, you can't put them down. They are so engaging. I have read them all a few times and I love them every time I read them. They are so creative, I love all the different adventures Jake and his friends get into. So much character development. If you love fantasy and magic these are for you!

Jake and his friends get up to all sorts of hi-jinks while also saving each other and the world. Each story builds on the previous ones and the characters and plot lines are well thought out and well written. Since Jake is 12 and an orphan when the series begins you can expect his character to behave, or misbehave like a real 12 year-old. He and his friends grow and develop. These stories are not babyish in any way and become more complex as they go. They are a great set for middle school age and up.

Started reading these with my grandson and discussions we had were fun. He is now in the Navy but finished the series. The characters were really interesting and many original plot scenes. I look forward to reading more from theses authors and I know my grandson would still like to hear of the stories they write. Looking forward to reading, sharing the books with my great grandson when he gets a bit older.

I’m an 80-year-old kid who was hooked on Harry Potter for years. This series has blown Harry Potter out of the water! I’ve read all the middle grade and YA fantasy books. I am an author myself. The Gryphon Chronicles is hands down the best series since Lord of the Rings. As a matter of fact, it could be called the juvenile equivalent of Lord of the Rings. I don’t believe any other series will ever come close to it, unless the Foleys can top themselves. I don’t see anyone else being able to do it.

If you are looking for rich characters. and awful villains, you have come to the right place. This series has captivated me for years and ie is one of my all-time favorites. i live fantasy and this never fails to deliver a wonderful adventure.
