Hi there! We're the husband-and-wife writing duo known as E.G. Foley.

He's the E (Eric - former 8th grade teacher), she's the G (Gael - NYT bestselling author of 20+ novels from Random House and HarperCollins), and we're so happy you're here. Thanks for visiting!

About Us

E.G. FOLEY is the pen name for a husband-and-wife writing team who live in Pennsylvania. They've been finishing each other's sentences since they were teens, so it was only a matter of time till they were writing together, too.

He's the "E" (Eric): a former middle school teacher, world traveler, ice cream connoisseur, and exercise enthusiast. A bit of a renaissance man, he's picked up hobbies from kenpo to carpentry to classical guitar over the years, and holds multiple degrees in science, healthcare, and education. He credits his students with inspiring him to start dreaming up adventure stories for kids. When Eric's not lost in the realm of imagination, you might find him engaging in epic wand duels with his co-author - and of course, the battles are always "to be continued...!"

She's the "G" (Gael): a New York Times, USA Today, and Publisher's Weekly bestselling author. She loves big books and small fluffy creatures, and if she hadn't become a writer, she would've pursued a career as either a fairy godmother or a spy - or possibly both. With millions of copies of her forty-plus novels sold, and in dozens of languages worldwide, she's been hitting bestseller lists regularly since 2001. Gael is convinced that somewhere in her desk lies a portal to a whimsical world where her characters come to life and engage in hilarious adventures when she's not looking.
